Privacy Policy

FreshLensIAS ("we", "us") operates the answer-copy evaluation portal at evaluations.freshlensias.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect from users of the Service and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash), and your account's credit balance and role.
- Submitted material: the answer copies and question papers you upload for evaluation, and the evaluation reports, scores, corrections and feedback generated on them.
- Usage records: evaluation history (paper, date, questions, credits used) and technical logs needed to run and secure the Service.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner (Cashfree Payments). We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details; we receive only a confirmation of payment and its reference number, along with the mobile number you provide at checkout for payment processing.
How we use it
- To operate the Service: evaluate your answer copies, maintain your credit balance, show your history, and deliver mentor corrections and feedback.
- Uploaded copies are processed by our AI evaluation partner (OpenAI) solely to produce your evaluation. Copies submitted for mentor review are stored so your mentor can assess them.
- To communicate with you about your account, evaluations and payments.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not share your answer copies with other students.
- We do not store your payment instrument details on our servers.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed servers with access restricted to the mentor/administrator. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes; the Service is served over HTTPS; evaluation pages are accessible only after sign-in.
Retention and your rights
Evaluation records are retained so that you and your mentor can refer to past performance. You may ask us at any time to correct your account details or to delete your account and its stored copies by writing to the contact below; we will act on verified requests within a reasonable time.
